Ice Skating!
You know when they refer to something as being "kinda like riding a bicycle" in the sense that it comes back to you when you start doing it?
Skating is not one of those things for me (but oddly enough I was never a good bike rider either....)
Even though we live in the hockey capital of the world, I hadn't gone skating since I was around 10 years old. And it was not easy!
I could basically just go forward. Fast, but only forward. (I used to be able to do a few tricks - I swear)
The skating rinks in France remind me of "glow in the dark bowling" or something - they have a DJ playing top 40 (so really you just need the radio), and a bunch of strobe lights. It was weird, but fun.
