Michael Kors Hamilton Tote

I recently purchased this tote as my new "work" bag. The structured-ness make's it seem professional, while still allowing enough room for everything I could possibly need to carry.
The design is chic, sharp, and very business-appropriate. I would HIGHLY recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a classic purse to bring to the office.

Here are some suggestions of "business-appropriate" things to make sure you carry in the bag:
-Moleskine Agenda (see above blog)
-pens, duh. and maybe some highliters if you really want to be taken seriously.
-cell phone
-note pad
-lipstick (yes lipstick is corporate. It makes any outfit seem more office-ready). Wear it.

I got the black one, because black means business.

Shabby Chic

Since I will soon be moving into my own place, I have been spending a lot of time thinking about the important stuff.... like how I want to decorate it!

I have finally chosen a theme: SHABBY CHIC!

I am oh so obsessed with this style of interior decorating. It is simple, feminine, soft and clean. A lot of the furniture is distressed to look vintage and antique. It gives new purchases that comfortable "lived-in" feeling. And it fits with my fave color white! (Side note: for those who say "white is a shade, not a color"....fuck off)

From now until I get my own place I will be on the look out for furniture and accessories that fit into this theme. I cannot wait to start!!

Rain, Rain, Won't You Stay?

As shown in order:

Black Diamante Pagoda Parasol by Chantal Thomass, $140

Guy De Jean Black CanCan Parasol, $140

Tulle Drape by Chantal Thomass, $200

With some cute rain attire, a little shower can do no harm!

While it may be snowing in Canadaland, the only precipitation we are getting over here is rain. So grab your Hunters and a cute umbrella, its gunna pour baby.

The Tulle Drape umbrella is, in my opinion, one of the best thing's I've ever seen. But it's got some good competition from MKO over there.

But to each their own....
